Steps that worked!
Finding Joy Through Recovery and Faith
Taking the delicate steps from AA to Life Recovery and then to Bible Studies truly changes a life. These steps give the joy you're searching for, a joy that goes beyond what you think is possible. What makes the experience even more fulfilling is the fellowship you will find in all the groups. There is a diversity among each group brings a unique perspective and enriches every aspect of recovery and spiritual growth. Ultimately, it is through these connections and experiences that you can find a growth that gives you desires of your heart, gives guidance to achieve it—Jesus.
The 3 steps are
1. God grant me...(surrender {strength to stay sober})
2. The courage...(surrender {seeking the Word}),
3. Wisdom...(surrender {God's testimony})
God Grant me,
the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
and Wisdom to know the difference.

GOD GRANT ME...
Strength to stay sober one more day
Step 1 of the journey in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is often described as a profound and transformative experience, one that is made even more meaningful by the sense of connection and understanding found within the fellowship. It’s easy to get lost and/or complacent in recovery. The Big Book, a cornerstone of AA, is filled with deeply personal stories of salvation and recovery, offering a source of hope and encouragement for individuals to grow at their own pace. The foundation of AA itself is rooted in timeless spiritual teachings, drawing from the powerful messages of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), the Book of James, and the famous "Love Chapter" from 1 Corinthians 13.

THE COURAGE…
To Seek Your Creator
Step 2 In the journey toward sobriety, I recognize that finding the courage to seek my Creator is a vital step. This courage is not just about faith but also about developing the individual strength needed to guide my actions. Sobriety requires more than personal resolve; it’s about stepping up as a leader for myself, my family, and others who may look to me for support. By cultivating this strength, I can create a positive impact on those around me, especially my loved ones, while staying steadfast on the path of recovery.

WISDOM...
From Your Word and through fellowship
Step 3 Lord Jesus, bless me with wisdom from Your Word. Help me to glorify You for Your unwavering faithfulness through both my struggles and my healings. I recognize my need for a community of men and women to share in fellowship, as Your Word teaches that such connections bring wisdom, protection, and glory to Your name. Surround me with people who will inspire and encourage me in my journey of faith, and guide me to grow in understanding and trust in You. Thank You for Your constant love and the promise of wisdom and strength through Your Word.
